Location
You are in the vicinity of the Taksang Monastery- at 10,000 ft above sea level; a place of great energy and wisdom, as blessed by a great Buddhist saint Guru Padmasambhava of the 8th century. Masters of the past have advised that this opportunity is precious and must be used to think good, kind and useful thoughts that are of benefit for others beings.
Your Surrounding
We have nature surrounding you- the chirpine, blue pine, rhododendrons, wild rose, marigolds, dahlia, Artemisia, marijuana, most of which bloom in the spring; the paddy and wheat fields cascading in front of you; all this can be thought of as a vast mandala offering to Taktsang Gonpa.
The Water
is sourced independently from a natural clean stream 5 km into the mountains above the hotel; it is piped underground 2 feet deep; it can be yellowish and slightly muddy during the summer. The water has been tested by the Bhutan National Food Testing Laboratory following the WHO standards and guidelines.
The Food
We are vegetarian in due respect to this spiritual place. Vegetables, grains, fruit are of fresh, farm grown, unprocessed, using no chemicals for their growth. Often the locally grown produce of the Satsam Village are used for cooking. Hardly any processed or packaged food is used in our kitchen. It is a healthy diet fit for champions.

The power switch to your room is located near the door.
The mirror and table lamp lights switch is attached to their power outlet.
We have 58 TV channels. The details of the channel list are in room’s black file.
We use the room heater to keep your room warm. Please do not keep the heater on a high temperature for longer duration.
There is a bed warmer in each of the bed. You can adjust the temperature of the heat from the temperature control unit on the electrical outlet after inserting it to the power socket. Keep it on for 10 minutes.
There is a water boiler in the room for you to have a hot water or a cup of tea.

IN THE EVENT OF A FIRE:
- Please do not panic, simply use the stairs to go out of the building either the back door (for rooms in the main building) or the front door leading to the terrace.
Help Us Prevent Fire: Please care to shut off all electric appliances as you leave the room. Do not dry clothes in the room or use the heater to dry your clothes; we have an in-house laundry that you can request at the front desk.
